SoundCloud is partnering with Universe, Ticketmaster’s self-serve general admission event platform, to power ticketing for Artist Pro artists. This integration enables artists to create and sell tickets for live events directly from the SoundCloud platform.
What This Integration Offers
With this new feature, SoundCloud artists can:
- Create, list, and update an event directly on SoundCloud.
- Sell tickets seamlessly without leaving the platform.
- Promote your live shows to fans through SoundCloud’s event discovery features.
- Manage your events, gueslists, payments and fees, and more directly on Universe.
How It Works
Creating an Event

Initiate an Event on SoundCloud
- As an Artist Pro artist, you can create an event directly from your SoundCloud profile via the On Tour widget. This is in the right hand side of the profile page, under your Top listeners section. (Note: this feature is only available on SoundCloud web currently)
After clicking the Edit button, you will be navigated to the On Tour page where you can create a new event, or update your existing event details:
- The integration will allow you to enter the basic event details, including:
- Event title
- Location and Venue name
- Ticket name, price, and quantity
- Event visibility (e.g., public or unlisted event)

Access Additional Features on Universe
- While basic event creation happens on SoundCloud, advanced settings can be managed through the Universe platform for enhanced event control.
- These include:
- Payment processing
- Fees and taxes
- Detailed event reporting
- Operational actions (e.g., guest list management, ticket scanning)
- Additional event creation settings
Managing and Promoting Events
- Once an event is created, it will be displayed on your SoundCloud profile, making it easy for fans to discover and purchase tickets.
